Ingredients

  • 200 grams dark chocolate at least 70% cocoa content
  • 250 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 80 grams powdered sugar
  • 40 grams all purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 150°C or 320°F. Grease 22 cm springform pan and line bottom of pan with parchmentpaper. Set aside.
  • Melt dark chocolate in a microwave or using bain-marie method.

  • In a mixing bowl, tip in the mascarpone cheese and stir until creamed.
    250 grams mascarpone cheese
  • Add melted chocolate and mix with mascarpone until fully combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time while gently mixing until all eggs are incorporated.
    4 medium eggs
  • Tip in vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and flour. Mix well until incorporated or no trace of flour is left.
    1 tsp vanilla extract, 80 grams powdered sugar, 40 grams all purpose flour
  • Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 150°C/320°F.
  • Remove from oven and let it sit until cool to touch. Transfer in a serving plate and completely cool down before sprinkling with powdered sugar.
  • Serve as dessert or a light snack and enjoy. Bon appetit.
