- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 5 tbsp cake flour or all purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a mixing bowl, sift together powdered sugar and cake flour using a fine mesh strainer.

Add egg whites, melted butter, vanilla extract and whish until batter is smooth. Let batter rest for at least 15 minutes.

To bake in an oven
Pre heat oven at 180°C/356°F. Line bottom of baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place a tablespoon of batter on the baking paper and thin it out using back of the spoon. Fill the rest of the baking sheet with wafer batter.
Bake in pre heated oven for 3-4 minutes at 180°C/356°F then turn and continue baking for 3-4 minutes more or until golden.
Remove the baked wafers from the baking sheet one at a time using a spatula or kitchen turner.
Roll each wafer around the handle of a wooden spoon until the edges overlap. Cool down on a wire rack seam-side down.
Using a frying pan
Place a tablespoon of batter on the fryin pan and thin it out using back of the spoon.
Turn on heat to low and cook until browned or for 5 minutes.
Flip to cook the other side and cook for additional 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Roll each wafer around the handle of a wooden spoon until the edges overlap. Cool down on a wire rack seam-side down.
Repeat process with remaining wafer batter. Serve and enjoy. Bon appetit!
