Ingredients

  • 1 kilo grated cassava
  • 2 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven at 350° F or 180° C and prepare baking dish or baking pan by greasing with melted butter.
  • Place butter in microwave-safe bowl. Place bowl in microwave and cover bowl with small plate. Heat butter at 50 percent power until melted.

  • Place grated cassava in a mixing bowl. Crack and eggs, melted butter, sugar, salt, coconut milk and cheese.

  • Mix the batter with a rubber spatula or wooden ladle until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Pour cassava mixture in prepared baking pans and bake in oven for 40 - 50 then turn oven to broil setting for the remaining 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool down before slicing to serving size. Serve and enjoy. Bon appetit!
