Beef Salpicao
Beef Salpicao with mushrooms is definitely one of the best way I love to cook beef! Tender, stir-fried cubed beef, seasoned perfectly. With a generous sprinkling of fried garlic, this beef recipe is a show stopper!

- 500 grams beef tenderloin cut in cubes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 cloves garlic sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp liquid seasoning knorr seasoning
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 cup canned small whole mushrooms optional
- fried/toasted garlic garnish - optional
- chopped spring onion garnish - optional
Marinate beef with salt and pepper for 10-15 minutes in a bowl then set aside.
In a skillet or frying pan heat oil over medium heat. Tip in garlic and saute until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove garlic from pan and set aside.
Turn heat to high then add the beef. Sear the beef cubes for 3 - 4 minutes on all side by stirring. When beef is nicely seared add butter, liquid seasoning, and oyster sauce. Mix to evenly distribute ingredients.
Add the cooked garlic and mushrooms and let cook for another 5 minutes. Check the beef is tender and adjust the taste according to preference. Transfer in a serving dish and sprinkle with spring onion and fried garlic. Bon appetit!
