Beef Salpicao

Beef Salpicao with mushrooms is definitely one of the best way I love to cook beef! Tender, stir-fried cubed beef, seasoned perfectly. With a generous sprinkling of fried garlic, this beef recipe is a show stopper!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef tenderloin cut in cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp liquid seasoning knorr seasoning
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 cup canned small whole mushrooms optional
  • fried/toasted garlic garnish - optional
  • chopped spring onion garnish - optional

Instructions

  • Marinate beef with salt and pepper for 10-15 minutes in a bowl then set aside.
  • In a skillet or frying pan heat oil over medium heat. Tip in garlic and saute until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove garlic from pan and set aside.
  • Turn heat to high then add the beef. Sear the beef cubes for 3 - 4 minutes on all side by stirring. When beef is nicely seared add butter, liquid seasoning, and oyster sauce. Mix to evenly distribute ingredients.
  • Add the cooked garlic and mushrooms and let cook for another 5 minutes. Check the beef is tender and adjust the taste according to preference. Transfer in a serving dish and sprinkle with spring onion and fried garlic. Bon appetit!
